Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 32,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas.

A Rotarian wants to contribute and be part of a better world. Rotary International President D.K. Lee is especially interested in making the world better for children. His theme ”Make Dreams Real,“ urges everyone to consider that each day, more than 26,000 children die from preventable causes. This year, the more than 40 members of San José North will be working to Make Dreams Real for the children of San José, enabling Grant Academy students to attend science camp and helping hundreds of children learn how to fish in the annual Fishing in the City program. We are alway on the lookout for new members who share a committment to our local community and the world. Won’t you join us?
